Mince Naan A Stuffed bread


Mince Naan is bread filled with any kind of meat like chicken, Beef or mutton. The recipe to follow is here.

Ingredients

Flour Dough
  • ·         Plain Flour ½ KG
  • ·         Egg 1
  • ·         Salt 1 Teaspoon
  • ·         Yeast 1 Tablespoon
  • ·         Milk powder 2 Tablespoon
  • ·         Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  • ·         Oil 1 Tablespoon
  • ·         Water to knead a medium soft dough

Mince Filling
  • ·         Mince ½ KG
  • ·         Salt 1 Teaspoon
  • ·         Garlic 1 Tablespoon
  • ·         Ginger 1 Tablespoon
  • ·         Red pepper 1 Teaspoon
  • ·         Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
  • ·         Coriander seeds 1 Tablespoon
  • ·         Dry pomegranate seeds 1 Teaspoon
  •  

Greens of filling
  • ·         Coriander green ½ Cup
  • ·         Green Chilies 5 to 6
  • ·         Mint leaves 2 Tablespoon
  • ·         Onion 1 small size cut very thin

Recipe

Mix all of the dough ingredients in flour and slightly rub with hands and add water slowly while kneading when it comes to medium soft consistency put that aside for 2 hours to rise almost double.


  • Mix every ingredient of filling including green ingredients in mince and rub with hands till everything is well combined. Make equal size of balls of the mixture.

  • Make small balls of risen dough and spread in round in a greased pizza pan.

  • Equally spread mince filling on the rounds leaving half inch from corners.

  • Now spread another ball of same size of the previous one and cover mince.

  • Close the side of the round Naan  so that the filling do not drop.
  • Slightly slather oil on the naan and make few marks on it with the help of fingers

  • Bake in pre-heat oven for 10 minutes at 180 degrees and turn the side and bake for another 7 minutes (No need to turn if you can turn on the upper side of over) Bake time may reduce or increase for the color of the naan according to your satisfaction. But please start monitoring after 7 minutes once placed in oven.
